ELYSIUM

A long elegant hallway greets any and all Kindred into the vast Sanctuary of Elysium. Located in the underbelly of the Four Seasons Hotel in Maui, Elysium offers luxury, accommodations to Kindred along with safety given to all Kindred as is stated under the rules of Elysium. Along this hallway you will find several guards occupying all the time. The desk at the far end just before the curtain that leads into Elysium proper is of large dark oak. Behind it sits a dark skinned brunette, obviously of Samoan descent, known ghoul property of the Keeper.

To the right of the large oak desk, layers of sheer chocolate curtains give entry to Elysium proper. A relaxing, tranquil and yet elegantly inviting room. Comfortable seating offered along with a piano for those that enjoy entertaining with music. Several flameless candles on tall candlebras and low lighting lamps give off an ambient feel of calm. The Kindred mailboxes are located along the backwall, each one locked for everyone except the owner of the box. A rather large bulletin board sits next to these mailboxes for citywide postings.

These small alcoves can be found just beyond the small arches in Elysium proper. There is a total of four alcoves. Semi-private and isolated offering the same comfort as the entirety of Elysium with just a hint of privacy.

Across the hall from Elysium proper lays a meeting room that offers more privacy than the alcoves. This is where Primogen meetings take place, as well as any other meeting that needs a private Kindred safe atmosphere. Guards stand outside this meeting room when it is occupied.

Beyond one of the doors in the long hallway lies a library with shelves upon shelves of books. From the classics to the modern novels, fiction and non-fiction. Two large book sculptures welcome those that walk in, two winding staircases give access to some of the more rare books in the Elysium library. A brunette librarian is there each night, during the day the doors are locked, a series of passcodes needed to get inside along with a set of keys. No books are allowed to be taken from the library for any reason. Nor may any copies be made. There are no computers or copiers in this library. There is also no internet access provided anywhere in Elysium.

There are a total of 6 rooms along the halls of Elysium. These rooms are provided for Kindred who find themselves in need of a safe place to sleep during the day. The cost for these rooms is $187 a night, as no Kindred will stay for free. This is not only for the room but for the protection offered by the guards during the daytime hours.
