Ridley has an attitude and it has frequently been presented that he'd cause much less trouble if he was an Anarch or Independent. For whatever the reason, and most people believe it's because of his wife Amakai's allegiance, he has remained a supporter of the Camarilla. It's well known that Ridley is a much more powerful Warlock than any other member of House Tremere and that is was Ridley that lead "The Great Scourge" on O'ahu to exterminate the Sabbat and Anarchs there. He even publicly protested the asylum the turncoat Anarchs received. Ridley has frequently turned down invitation to become a member of the Court and typically keeps to himself and his own scheming, but there isn't a person on all the islands of Hawaii that can say he isn't a power-player in nearly all aspects of the area.
Character Description
Ridley van Carvalho looks like he was in his early twenties when he was embraced, but has a curious combination of youthful and elderly traits. He has a full head of thick hair neatly trimmed and brushed, all the dirty golden color of a man grown on the edges of a desert. Ridley's torso unfolds to a six-feet-four-inch frame when he stands and his devious smirk bursts our of what at first appeared to be a face locked in alabaster. He typically wears a plain white dress shirt and jeans with designer boots that a decorated with a gothic cross on both sides of the ankle. Ridley's eyes seem to metamorphose while he stares at people, changing from a dull forest green to a shimmering almost fluorescent color. He has a straight, full nose with soft lines that at times make his face appear ageless. His jawbone is sharp, his skin tight, yet he has a certain wisdom that just doesn't belong to someone so young. When Ridley is seen without clothes on he has extensive tattoos all over his body, but a remarkable amount on his torso.
