| Hello my birdies! Did you see the drama unfold at Court? This Vamploid did and I can say I wasn't too shocked at all that came down. I can say I saw some things coming, and others came out of the blue! I mean, Bernadette Roystepping down without no fuss no muss. That I saw coming. The Toreador Lokilani Tasi becoming Prince. Sure, that was plausible. But, did you see the way it ended? That was a rude eye opener for this little Vamploid.
Oh, Prince Tasi, you have not done well at making friends. You surround yourself with a pit of vipers. No, no I'm not talking about those silly Setite. No, nothing as colorful as that. I'm talking about surrounding yourself with the Tremere who proclaim themselves Elders those Van Carvahlo's. I was shocked at how your Court was built. One Van Carvahlo as the law the other as the executioner. Tsk. Well, you know what they say when you lay with vipers?
Lets move along, so much to say so little time. There were four crowning actions for the evening and if you read on you'll hear about each and every little detail that this Vamploid saw!
Firstly, did you see how Prince Tasi insulted Bernadette Roy? Telling her she had best try controlling a room before she aspires to control a City? Oh, Prince Tasi, you may have two Tremere at your back but the one in front is likely just a little put out. Besides, who would ever want a Tremere at your back? I'm having a hard time letting go of this. Oh well!
Secondly, Prince Tasi gives the Ventrue Dermot Zirimis a compliment with one hand and grants him the second most powerful posistion of her Court by naming him the Seneschal. You know, the person who has the Prince's voice when she is unavailable? Yes, that posistion. And then, in nearly the next breath, she slaps him down and tells him "naughty, Ventrue, you didn't discipline your Clan mate for speaking out of turn to an Elder." Psh! For all you know it could have been something in the brewing. Not everyone lashes out over the smallest things right off the bat. Prince Tasi, have you ever heard of the phrase "give them just enough rope to hang themselves"? Oh well, another lesson learned.
Prince Tasi bans Ventrue from the island for four whole months! And! She plays the Red Queen and allows the male Carvhalo to "off with his head" the obviously already torpored Melachi Nazarene. That, my birdies I didn't see coming!
Then fourthly, because the third was said with the second, you see the Brujah Jessica Sanchez stand up and ask about "speaking out of turn". She never did get an answer. Which only set her off. Seemed to me she fled the scene so she wouldn't face the Red Queen's wrath! Maybe, Prince Tasi, you will grace us with an elaboration of exactly WHAT Melachi did to deserve to die? Here I thought we were allowed to speak our mind so long as we don't threaten! This Vamploid is imploring you, Prince Tasi, to elaborate and give the citizens of your domain clear understanding of just how your rule will be.
Oh well, so much drama in such a little space! We will have to see what The Red Queen does in her reign! Keep checking for my next post!
