| When a Kindred takes on a position of power, the position comes with automatic status. This status is recognized in all Camarilla cities, though only makes the Kindred someone of real importance in their city of residence (the city they hold said position in). Below is an outline of the status traits that come with each position within the Camarilla. Keep in mind that these are just the standard traits and more may be added should a Prince deem the individual worthy of more. Any character who is granted a position within the City, in addition to their Acknowledgment will have the number of status traits allotted to the position.
Justicar: Faultless, Feared, Just
Archon: Empowered, Feared
Prince: Exalted, Famous, Well-Known
Seneschal: Cherished, Esteemed
Primogen: Revered, Esteemed
Sheriff: Feared
Keeper of Elysium: Honourable
Harpy: Influential
Scourge: Dreaded
Status Traits can be positive and negative. These traits are awarded based on actions and fulfillments (or lack there of). In short you get what you deserve. Be that a positive action or pulling all your resources to help the city get rid of the Sabbat invasion OR you break the masq or several other rules. (Or you just piss off some pretty important people).

*Once a Vampire has been granted the title of Ancilla or Elder, they are granted the respected status trait as well.
Other Non-Camarilla Status Traits include Recognized (Ghouls) and Tolerated (Anarch/Caitiff)
Status isn't all cupcakes and sprinkles.
If your character does something in the Domain that warrants being given Negative status - they're going to be marked with a scarlet letter - oh for shame on you!
A character that possesses a Negative Status trait is down a Status trait in all comparisons of Status.

These are just examples of negative status. Some Prince's can be very creative.
